The Labyrinth of Souls has many themes, like friendship, found family (including LGBT+ family), and the importance of being yourself. At its very heart, though, it's a story about kindness—kindness to creatures and animals, kindness in the face of fear, and even kindness to ourselves.

Speaking and School Visits
My books, including The Bone Spindle trilogy (YA) and The Labyrinth of Souls (MG) have a variety of themes: friendship, LGBTQ acceptance, the hero’s / heroine's journey, and the joy of being unafraid to be yourself. My stories are set in queer-normalized worlds with no anti-woman bias where anyone can be a hero!
Presentations can be customized across a variety of topics, including: reimagining fairytales, finding yourself and your voice through storytelling, and the craft of writing. I’m open to Q&As, classroom visits, and book clubs both virtual and in person!
