​THURS February 12th — The Nowhere Beast Launch at the Boulder Bookstore, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | Let's do the Time Warp Again!! I'm going to be at my wonderful local indie bookstore, the Boulder Bookstore, for the release of the sequel to The Labyrinth of Souls, THE NOWHERE BEAST! I'll be chatting with the absolutely incomparable Megan Freeman about what makes MG magical, why we need LGBT+ characters in kids' books, and also the wackiest words in the English language :) ​

SAT April 18th — Keynote at the Colorado Teen Lit Conference | It's a little early, but I'm so excited to announce I've been chosen as the keynote speaker at the Colorado Teen Lit Conference for 2026. It means the world to me to be able to speak with teachers, librarians, and the all-around wonderful human beings that help books get into kids' hands. I would not be the person I am today without a librarian at the Boulder Public Library, who put the exact right book into my hand just when I needed it. ​
There'll be all kinds of wonderful speakers and panels---some of which I'll be on :) Check back for ticket information soon.
